On October 18th, 2016 I had the honor of introducing the Ambassador of Colombia for the United States, Juan Carlos Pinzón, to the Elliott School of International Affairs at GW. The event’s point of discussion was the transformation of Colombia during the past 15 years and the ongoing peace talks in the country.

The purpose of this visit was to increase the links between GW and the Colombian Embassy, and further educate GW students about Colombia. The links between GW and the Colombian Embassy had been strengthening in the past year through the partnership between the embassy and the student organization GW PorColombia. It was with the help of the GW administration and the embassy’s staff that this event was a success.
